Botany and Bitters is the brainchild of Taylor "Gingi" Howell and Amanda Farthing, who bring over five years of working together at Wood's High Mountain Distillery. In the unique environment of a distillery tasting room, where only made-in-house ingredients are permitted, we honed our craft by creating bespoke cocktails from scratch. This challenge fueled our creativity, pushing us to reimagine classic cocktails with innovative, handcrafted ingredients.

At Botany and Bitters, we take that same passion and expertise to offer a truly unique experience for our clients. Instead of a rigid cocktail menu, we offer a personalized consultation process, crafting custom libations tailored to your preferences. Our mission is to delight your senses and impress your guests with one-of-a-kind creations that elevate any event.

You won't find a standard cocktail menu to choose from here. Instead, we will meet with you to create to menu of your dreams. Whether you have a curated food menu you'd like to complement, or a general idea of the flavors you want to present, our expert mixologists will help you create a truly unique experience for your guests. 

Creative Themes

Yes, we can do cocktail hour or drinks with dinner, but how about a special breakfast cocktail feature for the bridal party? A bitters-making class for a corporate event? Maybe a bloody bar for the day after to take the edge off? We can offer a wide range of entertaining options to make your event even more memorable

Our mixologists are skilled in all manner of bartending techniques, and can offer an higher level of service for your guests. Perhaps you'd like to ditch the batch cocktails and offer a more personalized approach. Whether you'd like to present smoked cocktails, artfully stirred martinis, or creamy egg white cocktails, we have the skillset to treat your guests to a truly special cocktail experience.

When planning an important event, you already have plenty on your plate. Our professional bartenders will make the entire process easy on you. From the first consultation to the final cleanup, we want to make sure your event is nothing but fun for you as well as your guests. Introducing Taylor "Gingi" Howell, our skilled cocktail chemist and the creative genius behind all of our scratch-made ingredients. With more than ten years of experience in the beverage industry, Gingi finds inspiration in a variety of places, creating extraordinary flavor combinations that push the boundaries of imagination.

Amanda Farthing

Amanda Farthing brings more than ten years of experience in bar management and creative event planning. Her outstanding organizational abilities, paired with Gingi's creative flair, help bring Botany and Bitters from grand plans to reality at every event.
